Private House, Island of Hydra, Greece. – December 2008

Working with landscape designer Todd Longstaffe-Gowan, this project involved a trip to the Greek island of Hydra in the Aegean, to help plant up the garden of a traditional 18th century Greek Mansion.

The gardens, terraced on the steep slopes of the mountainous island, was planted with drought resistant plants to survive the scorching Greek summer sun, including native plants, aromatics, citrus, palms, olives and thousands of irises.  Lyndon has visited to the garden over recent years to help maintain its development.  It is an amazing project in a stunning location.
