Royal College of Art, London – Autumn 2011

In a project close to his heart, Lyndon, working with the landscape designer Todd Longstaffe-Gowan, helped to install a major new fernery in the heart of London at the Royal College of Art, next to the Royal Albert Hall.

The project involved the importation and handling of a large number of sizeable tree ferns, with some trunks up to 18 feet tall.  The fernery hopes to provide a showcase for these magnificent plants, with an ongoing programme of introducing new species of tree ferns and the development of the fern under planting.
