Sunday is market day. Lyndon has been a stallholder at East London’s famous plant and flower market since 1997. From the start of March to the end of November Lyndon’s stall boast a seasonal range of plants from his nursery. By stocking London grown plants with an eye for the unusual, Lyndon’s stall can fairly claim to be a favourite haunt for the plant enthusiast. Lyndon is also always happy to chat, provide advice and swap gardening gossip.
Every Saturday afternoon Lyndon gathers up a varied collection of plants for sale at market on Sunday. His choice will reflect the season, what is looking good or simply what takes his fancy. If there are plants that he has in stock and you would like him to bring to market, he is very happy to help. Please email him during the week (by Saturday morning at the latest) and he will load them onto the van for the following day.

Columbia Road Flower Market is one of London’s great traditional markets. Its origins date back well into the 19th Century and over the last 30 years it has become many Londoner’s favourite way of spending a Sunday morning - the chance to shop for a great range of plants and flowers while enjoying a coffee and a cake. The market bustles with everyone from local East Enders to visitors from all around the world; garden designers, landscapers and keen amateur plant enthusiasts to those who have yet to develop their green fingers.
Columbia Road is in East London. Located off the Hackney Road in the Borough of Tower Hamlets the market opens on Sundays – 8am to 2pm. Lyndon’s stall is pitch 8 – Brick Lane end of Columbia Road. The Market can get very busy during the spring and summer months so it pays to get there early!
